Design Inspirations

Caesarstone is launching a unique book of inspirations, inviting you to meet the world's top five design trends.

"We are excited to introduce you to Caesarstone’s book of inspirations, Design Inspirations. Being a global leader in the world of design makes it necessary for us to constantly familiarize ourselves with new design trends and innovations worldwide. The book was created out of a desire to share our sources of inspiration and our involvement in the design world," writes Eli Feiglin, Chief Marketing Officer.

The book, now available for digital download, was produced in collaboration with FranklinTill, a leading international agency specializing in the research and forecasting of new trends. The book reviews five current trends in design, mapping the cultural context of each trend and taking you for a journey through the most prominent players in the contemporary design scene. The book also features materials, colors and textures from Caesarstone’s collection of surfaces.

We hope you enjoy this original production and find this book to be a valuable source of design inspirations.

These are the five trends that will lead the way for the hottest styles in design in coming years:

In an age of infinite consumption and mass production, room for relaxation and reflection serves as a most needed interval. The world of design creates smart and simple solutions for the modern living environment, which functions as a warm and welcoming place of refuge. The trend is characterized by a soft look, flowing lines and authentic, raw materials such as wood, concrete, stone and marble in elegant finishing. The combination of warm materials such as wood with cool surfaces of stone or concrete creates an even, cozy look.

Luxury, glamor and grandeur have been diluted of their true meaning over the years. This trend seeks to restore their original essence, returning to the valuation of fine materials and traditional crafts. The trend attempts to create a timeless ambience, appealing to a hedonistic and elegant lifestyle and combining delicate materials such as marble, bronze and crystal in new and innovative interpretations.

This trend engages the core essence of objects and spaces. A quick look at its visual characteristics reveals materials that have been stripped of their cover and presented in their raw form. One of these is bare concrete, used as a basis for large scale planning, but surprisingly also integrating with ornaments and fashion accessories. The meticulous processing of concrete highlights its breadth, ranging from refined luxury to crude roughness.

Living in a global village made our life rich and diverse. Every time we surf the net, walk on the street or visit a gallery, a mix of countless cultural sources unfolds before our eyes, and the result is a cross-border, multi-cultural stream of consciousness. Cultural Remix brings these opposing forces into a new harmony. It is eclectic and subversive. Designs will showcase innovative and experimental uses of folklore art and handicrafts, ethnic elements and bold and playful avant-garde combinations.
